'Little Village' was originally a simple ink sketch which has been edited in Adobe Illustrator and transformed into a Surface pattern concept that creates a colourful happy scene.

Created for 2018 Make it in Design Summer School on the theme of Mexican folk art. Fiesta Folk takes elements of the Day of the Dead celebration; skulls and marigolds drawn in Lucy's signature style to create a pattern perfect for a multitude of applications.
How many bugs can you spot? 'Bug Hunt' was created for the Make it in Design Summer School 2018. The inspiration came from exotic bugs in their natural environment.
My submission for the Make it in Design Module 1 Student Showcase (Sept 2017) This is a fun and bright gift wrap design created from doodles of buttons and hand stitching, layered on top of colourful and random polka dots. I also designed a differing colour way and a co-ordinating gift tag pattern. I am thrilled that this design was picked to feature in the online student showcase. Placement print for Make it in Design Summer School 2017. The brief was to create artwork that reflected the trend of 'Drawn Botanicals'. In 2018 this design was updated to a full repeat.
'May Marigolds' was created for Make it in Design Summer School 2018. The theme of the brief was "Homeland Flora" and Lucy was inspired by a birds-eye view of a clump of corn marigolds.
